i got the impression from you saying you dont want praise which is what a person would say if they did not think they deserve the praise in the first place

but if you look at the readers comment in a postive view what do you see? Amazing fic and good storyline

so yeah be offended but look at the postive in all this the reader took the time to read your story and finish it then thought it was an amazing and good fic with a compelling storyline

so do not doubt yourself and do not let it get in your head as you are a good writer if you can get someone to comment in anger cuz you have not finished the story yet

it also tells you one thing the reader obviously thinks your a capable writer if they are praising your story to point of anger when they run out of your writing to read

so put a postive spin on it and hold your head up high
