I <3 this game too. I was just playing it, and realized I had nothing left to do for today. I still didn't stop. I spent two hours just running around patrol areas cycling through my guns shooting everything, and I had a blast... I woulda played Crucible, but I had GTA downloading in the background. Of gamers? Maybe we are a part of a small minority of gamers as a whole, but we are the majority of Destiny players. It's what we enjoy; sorry it didn't meet your standards or give you the hours of fun it gave us, sorry you felt like you wasted money on it. But here in the subreddit dedicated to Desiny and it's fans, where you're posting, quite a lot of us think that it was worth the day's work that equiviates to $60.
Hell, I made over double that amount on Vday working at a resteraunt that only pays me $5 an hour. That portion of my Vday shift essentially bought me over 500 hours of enjoyment. That is pretty much a 50x return on my time. And I still play every few days, and a few hours on my day off each week, so that investment is still paying off for me, and for a lot of people here.
I do feel bad that you had to face the dissapointment of getting a game you didn't expect though, and for a full $60 at that. I've been in that situation before (I'm looking at you, Halo 4...) and it's no fun. permalinksaveparentreportgive goldreply
