I'm an actor, like filmmakers I have to pretty much write/make my own work to have a reel and get on peoples radars. I've written 3 short films about 1 character with some voice actors doing a few side characters. Is it possible for me to act in film while also shooting it pretty much alone? Ive been a photographer for almost 20 years so the lighting and technical stuff comes pretty naturally but is it possible to do small camera moves and such without a crew? any books or anything I could read to point my in the right direction.

I know I could hire a crew to do this but a lot of the acting work would be better if I could be alone. also I'm very poor.
