Working in film makes you less creative

Hey, listen, I spent the last 3 years feeling dejected in the same way as you. This is a simplified version of my story. After film school and working on a few indie features, i moved down to GA and worked as a background actor and my plan was to shift over to a PA and work my way up once I was ready, but I saw how impossible the hours were and how miserable most people were and never made the leap. I have a network of friends and colleagues back in my hometown who have similar dreams and ambitions and eventually I decided I was spinning my wheels down there, losing my creativity and feeling it would get worse if i tried to xlimb the ladder, and what I really needed to start writing
