I can only speak on my own experiences. Most people I’ve met have been kind, understanding and sometimes even going through similar situations. Not everyone you speak to is going to ‘get it’, and that’s okay.

I am also single. And I’m sorry that your previous relationship didn’t work out. But you said it was mutual, so maybe you also were not ready? Or perhaps it was not the right girl. One of the things I struggled with most was when with someone I loved was not making them the sole source of my happiness.

Finally, I want someone who will love me as much on my ‘hard’ days, as they do on my good days. I am sorry again that it didn’t work out, but I do think you will find someone who ‘gets you’ and you can have a great relationship with someday:)
