I just want to also point out that these types of credentials and behavior are actually VERY common among Indian-Americans.
Many people might not know any Indians, but I live near the largest concentration of them in the USA. They are good people, don't get me wrong, but there are a lot of very telling things about her.
Most of the Indians are on H1-B Visas, and then their kids are usually born here. Indians are hard working, and they are climbers, through and through. They go into tech/medical fields and work very hard to advance...by any means necessary. They cheat on exams, they take phone interviews for college/work for each other, there is no shame in it to them. And it carries into every facet of life. Indians have very, very little fun.
They spend money on nothing. And if they do, they thoroughly research it and think it through and go super cheap. They drive a car for 3 years and never take the airbag advertisement sticker off the dash. It's 17 degrees here but they're wearing sandals in the snow because boots cost a lot! They have a family plan for their cell phones with 9 lines sharing 2gb of data. And they have co workers and friends on it alongside family. You might be walking in a store and see an item you like, maybe google it to see if it's cheaper on Amazon, then buy it. An Indian will check all 4 anchor stores in the entire mall, then go online, then try and find coupons, then follow the item for weeks of even MONTHS for it to go on sale then come back and buy it. I met an Indian guy once who bought 1 wiper blade, to save money he would leave the passenger side one there for years while changing the driver's side one.
They are incredibly frugal beyond reason, and incredibly stressed. So if you know a young Indian kid, being pushed into college, having literally NEVER gone out or been on a vacation or done anything fun at all anywhere ever....finally away from their ridiculous parents....you know what happens next. They go to a bar in New Brunswick with a fake ID, drink way too much and act like a complete fucking lunatic.
