Microsoft, please change your policy related to ownership of digital games and being banned from Xbox Live.

Also, a word to the wise, be careful if you personally go after someone who you know is cheating the system.

The other night a friend of mine verbally accused these two players of boosting in Black Ops 3. There was one guy on his team that was 0-30 while another guy on the other team was 30-0. It was pretty blatant. They were in the same party as well.

My friend sent one of a voice message verbally accusing them of boosting and when he logged on the next day, he had a message from MS stating he had a 24 hour ban from voice chat.

They reported him for calling them boosters. So in turn, all three of us reported them behind the scenes for boosting. Not sure if they received a ban or not but we were just going to leave it alone with just our verbal warning. They fired back with a report that got my friend a 24 hour ban and all three of us did the same thing back at them.

Not sure if anything was ever done about it on their end though?

So TL:DR, if you see someone doing bad shit, don't take matters into your own hands. Just report them and move on.
