A migraine isn’t a fucking headache

Hi! I can relate, I started having ocular migraines at the age of 12. I have a scotoma, where I see jagged lines in one eye along with flashing lights. I also experience numbness in one arm and one side of my face. Hella scary!! First time I had one when I was 12 they thought I was having a stroke. I was prescribed Maxalt, a triptan, which can be used for normal migraines. I currently have gotten 2 migraines 2 weeks in a row each lasting 3 days. I feel your pain. It’s debilitating. I literally can only sit in a dark room and not even listen to music. I end up not eating anything too because I’m so nauseous. It’s terrible. I’ve always hated when people say they get headaches. Those aren’t even remotely close to what migraines feel like.
