I said earlier that I’d saved this so I could come back and read it all. I didn’t mean that as brushing it off. Your feelings and opinions matter more so than anybody else’s that aren’t being directly affected by the situation.

I understand your frustration and your anger and your pleas, but I cannot put myself on the soil that is being bombed and burned and beaten. I can only try to understand it as if it were happening to me.

But how can you blame an entire country for the acts of our “leaders.” I say leaders in a very loose sense because right now we have very few leaders how are actually good people.

Not to be cruel, but how can you sit there and attack everyone in other countries because we all aren’t pouring out money and strapping on boots, flying out to other countries and fighting? That’s not logical and it’s simply not feasible. Is it not ok for people like me, who live in the US, with a job and a family, living paycheck to paycheck fighting our own bullshit system, with no means to funnel money and man power into coming over there and picking up guns to fight back against horrible people? How is it fair of you to blame an entire country’s people when you yourself don’t want to be held solely accountable for what you’re saying?

Do you really think that the few ignorant people making memes and jokes about this, speak for everyone as a whole? I don’t blame you for what you’re saying but you need to also THINK about what you’re insinuating.

There are a plethora of people who aren’t feeding into the propaganda, that aren’t sharing these shallow lies and memes. You’re seeing the horrible things and blanketing it to an entire country/countries.

You aren’t offending me by any means. Like I’ve said, I can only simply try to put myself in your shoes. But how can you blame everyone for something they aren’t feeding into.

I’m sure I’ll be downvoted and argued and hated against. But you’re asking people to do the same things that a lot of us over here are asking as well.

I am sorry that all of the regular people of this world can’t just stop their lives, overthrow our trash leader, fly out of the country and drop bodies to save another country, but it’s not logical, feasible, or reasonable. It’s just not.

Can we not stand in solidarity with our spirits and our ability to filter through the propaganda and try to spread the facts?

I don’t hate you because you’re Russian. I’m terrified for you.

But don’t blame me. And when I say “me.” I mean everyone in my country that is crying for you all and trying what we can within our own means.

It would not be fair of me to rip your country apart because you and your people aren’t flying over here and saving us all, if we were in your position.

Compassion goes both ways. Understanding goes both ways.

I want you to live. I want your family and everyone you care about to survive this. But if words and actions from other people in other countries don’t matter to you then idk what else I can say. Your very valid in everything you’ve said, you’re valid in your feelings and your opinions and nobody should have the audacity to tell you otherwise.

But don’t blame everyone.
