Mike Tyson once said "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face." Have you ever had your stoicism tested by getting the proverbial "punch" that life often dishes out? Please share your experiences, both positive and negative.

Person I thought I was going to marry cheated during LDR. She apologized, cried, the whole 9. Initially I wanted to fly off the handle. I wanted to throw her under the bus to everyone. I wanted answers to why. It was pretty devastating but the only thing I said when she told me was "Okay". Deleted her number and all our pictures and never spoke to her since. It wasn't easy at all and at times every fiber of my being wanted to pick up my phone and text, get closure, all that stuff that we all experience during a break up, but I just tried to make it through each day and eventually it stopped bothering me and I moved on. I don't know if this counts but it definitely took a lot of self control.
