Well I mean... no? I come here for news and helpful info and all I mostly see are annoying dudebros or simple questions covered in the FAQ sections & weekly megathread. I'm sorry you think it's boring here, discord would probably suit you better if you want to chat and tell jokes. Or maybe try getting some of friends into BBS to talk to them about it privately. But like you said, people come here for a variety of reasons, so it's kind of redundant to point that out and then get bothered when people view this subreddit differently than you do. If people complain about it, then obviously they don't come here for the same purpose you do. For people like me looking for info, it's a further inconvenience to have to explain multiple times, during each new trend, why I am bothered by annoying shit that I don't want to trudge through. It's frustrating to sift through 3+ pages of new posts, all irrelevant, only to find the info I was looking for isn't out yet. Like someone else said, it'd be fine if there was one thread & a bunch of replies with the same topic, but obviously that's not what happens.
