The Harry Potter series is the most translated series of all time. The first book has been translated into 75 languages (including dead languages - Latin and Ancient Greek).
Dark blue color on the map is showing countries with an official translation of the Harry Potter series to their official language (or at least to one of the official languages).
The countries in the gray area do not have an official translation:
Eritrea - due to not having an official language.
Tajikistan and Uzbekistan - the translation to Tajik and Uzbek has been ordered by their governments, but those translations have not appeared yet.
Ethiopia (Amharic), Myanmar (Burmese), Laos (Lao), Bhutan (Dzongkha), Afghanistan (Dari and Pashto) and Turkmenistan (Turkmen) - no translations available.
