Moved from the south. No experience driving in snow. I have a nissan sentra. What should I do?

Seeing a lot of unnecessary hate for 4x4 on here. Define "overrated". Yes, there are some jackasses who think it makes them invincible. But to plenty of others it can be very useful. I would never say its NECESSARY.. ive made it through plenty of Michigan winters with 2wd, even some with worn out whatever tires. Be cautious, drive for conditions, give yourself plenty of space, youll likely be fine.

But just to play devil's advocate for 4x4, there are certain places in Michigan that are nearly inaccessible in winter without it. Also, in the case of a truck or large SUV, you could actually help people out when stuck with 4x4 and straps or a winch. Also you could put a plow on it and make a mint. Not to mention, if you park on a dirt lot filled with divots, or on the street where youll likely get plowed in on the regular, 4x4 is your friend. Again, not necessary. But far from "overrated" and quite useful in certain applications.
