May 10, 11:41 AM Hello *

Thank you for confirming your information and agreeing to let us to further examine your headset. If the red dot persists it may be a stuck pixel and I'll send you some additional info after this test.

I've attached the tool to this email. Use of this tool is subject to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, please do not share this tool with anyone. It will allow you to enable and disable a specific feature in the Oculus software. It is very important that you follow the directions below exactly.

To use this tool: 1. Open the tool. Windows may ask for admin permission, please allow when prompted. 2. When prompted to enable "spud usage," type "n" and hit enter on your keyboard. 3. When prompted, "press any key to continue," press a key on your keyboard. 4. Go into the Oculus app and try the content you were previously playing. 5. Check if the reddish lighting you perceived previously is better, worse, or the same. Please report this back to us via email. 6. Stop the content. 7. Open the tool again. 8. When prompted to enable "spud usage" this time, type "y" and hit enter on your keyboard to change your settings back to default (this is required to restore your settings and help avoid potential display performance issues).

Please let me know once you have completed all these steps and how the content looked when "spud usage" was disabled. Your "spud usage" and other data related to your headset will be examined by our engineers for review, so we really appreciate your help with this research.

Sincerely,

*
