Ok this happened to me after it had been working for a while and I thought I broke it. Ended up the connector in the headset can be pulled out(guess to replace broken cord or something) and i simply just pushed it back in a little and heard it set and it worked. I don’t understand why it would work at your friends tho and not your place if that was the reason but it literally worked for my wife and I came home didn’t work she played it worked and again not for me, like it was lose and I got the shaft iunno. Just an idea tho. Also some graphics cards hdmi port hadta be turned on in settings and don’t just auto detect. Or if you’re telling it to clone displays to both ports from some setting prior maybe see if u can find the setting to select the headset for that hdmi port.
