My daughter's sad observation last night: "Aww. The sun will never get to see the fireworks."

Listen, I see what you're doing, I tried to refrain from this, but you need to stop. A lot of this feels like an obvious bait trying for attention or to look like a victim, but in the case your not, somebody needs to be honest here.

Comedy as a whole is more or less based on pain, and by extension to that, some jokes are going to hurt. Of course rape isn't okay. Neither is racism (which has shown up before right above here but you gave that a pass, nor is violence of any sort. People could get offended by things. It's understandable, but on top of that, what are you expecting these people to do? Act like they don't think it's funny? The fucked up thing about jokes is that you can't just pick and choose, ore you're an even bigger asshole. Like, what? You're able to crack a joke about a natural disaster that claimed lives because you know nothing of it or who was there (Let's use the Titanic as an example.) Well, then it's just going to come back in another couple years where you'll have kids joking about god awful stuff that happened ten years ago, and barely a person will bat their eyes. It's fucked up, but it's how the world works, and you could either scream and cry and rant at the wind if it makes you feel better, but nothing's going to change. Hell, form opinions on the people who take stuff like that lightly if you want, you have all the power to do so, but what you don't need to do is badger them for not believing in what you do. It's disrespectful, but it's not harming anyone. It's disgusting, sure, but that's it. As long as they're not hurting anyone, why give a fuck.
