Thoughts/Impressions on the Cinematic Story Mode

Pros: -Zangief muscle power. -Rashid comic relief. -That one scene where it pans over and the world warriors are all walking in a group. -Surprise appearances by certain characters. -Moments that were so ridiculous that they made me cry laughing. -The general feeling that this is what you would get if you threw an 80's action movie and a random anime into a blender. -"I'm not a mugger, now hand over your chess pieces". -Bison fighting untextured ninjas. -The godlike story stages that need to be made available RIGHT NOW.

Cons: -After 20 years Ryu figures out how to control the hado off screen. -After 20 years Guile and Charlie meet up only to barely say 2 words to each other before Charlie runs off and dies. -In addition, nothing is done with the fact that Charlie trained Abel (even after they bring up the fact that this happened). -Birdie, Ibuki, Mika, Alex, Vega, Abel, and Necalli contributed almost nothing to the story (This in particular upsets me because Capcom said Sodom couldn't be in V for "story reasons"). -Ryu and Bison were essentially absent from the story until the last two minutes. -Nothing making any sense. -People teleporting all across the world in minutes. -People discovering information without showing the audience where or who they got it from. -MY FRIEND MY FRIEND MY FRIEND MY FRIEND MY FRIEND -The general feeling that this is what you would get if you threw a BAD 80's action movie and random anime into a blender.

Overall: While as a constructed story it was complete butt, I was entertained the entire way through.
