My dog met her doppelgänger

You are the one with reading comprehension issues - and obviously an ignorance of the way the breeding world works.

This has nothing with making the issue better, it has to do with making the issue worse. If you are selecting dogs to breed based on certain physical characteristics that result in physical disabilities, if you are selecting dogs that you know have a 25% or a 50% chance of transmitting a known genetic condition but you don’t care and you breed them over and over again, you are propagating the genetic issues down the line. As opposed to deliberately not breeding dogs with known genetic defects. That is what happening with King Charles, and it has nothing to do with mitigation.

But hey, once again, thanks for the lesson.
