My Google account was suspended... That means my Fi account was too. Including phone service.

I agree. If, after contacting them, they don't solve the problem to your satisfaction, then that is where the government gets involved. All I'm saying is that you don't call the government in to investigate every mistake a company makes. You should contact the offending party first, and explain the situation to them.

It's the same with using credit cards. If you buy something, and feel cheated in some way, the bank will go to bat for you. But if you read their terms, it says they do this if you can't solve the problem yourself.

Judging from the reactions I'm seeing, I suspect that there are some immature users here (I'm not referring to you, unless of course, you're one of the ones who downvote without understanding) who simply do not know how to solve problems on their own, so they need a parent substitute to solve it for them.

I'm at a disadvantage here, in that I'm a parent, and I'm the one that has to solve problems like this in my family. I once wrote a letter to the FCC about AT&T long ago, because after many months, they were still unable to solve a billing problem. But I didn't contact them until it was obvious I wasn't making progress. I don't understand what's so hard to understand about this.
