A Monument to All Our Sins

"So by my word were their great doors sealed. Men and women and children, still within.
Doors thick enough to repel an empire were unable to contain their screams.
I had created a tomb for the thousands.
A monument to all our sins.

The deep would have their bones."

Tarkand Mor was the Eldar’s most important northern cityhold; situated at the entrance to a mountain pass that leads far beyond our borders. Whilst we are almost certain Tarkand Mor resides in these mountains, its ruins are yet to be found.
Our interest in this lost city is in no small part due to the deep and its presence there.

Understanding the deep and its nature is a seemingly impossible task as Eldaric texts we find on the subject are equivocal at best. Many Eldaric writings are yet to be translated and the push to do so ever increases as we seek to answer our many questions.

I was very appreciative of the feedback I received on my last post. Hopefully, that has helped me create something a lot more authentic this time.
