My metabreakdown and tier list now rewritten for 0.61 patch

Your inability to take the hint is astounding.

You are framing everything from your perspective, which you assume is somehow shared by everyone.

It is not. There is an outside to your argument and your world view. There is actually a world view that completely contradicts yours. I am going to explain it, and then translate how it applies to Duelyst and TCGs. Here is the view:

Social workers are parasites that siphon money from productive people. They use this money to give themselves jobs where they ostensibly help their "clients". The programs sound charitable and morally wonderful but they are a huge waste of resources. Many of their clients are beyond help and time and effort should not be wasted on them, because the only one getting helped is the social worker who gets a job out of the deal. Most clients should be written off and most social workers should find real jobs rather than being self-satisfied bitches who do nothing productive.

Now, to apply that entirely different world view to your posts:

However, as a top player, many look to you as a barometer to judge the climate of the game- whether it is fundamentally enjoyable or not, for example.

Yes, and that duty obligates him to tell the truth.

Maybe the highest level play in the meta feels stale to you- but the majority of people are not on this level so you might want to consider using your influence to better cultivate the enjoyment of everyone who plays Duelyst.

In this case, Duelyst is like a client that is obviously beyond hope. Wasting resources on it is unwise. It is not his job to "cultivate the enjoyment of everyone who plays Duelyst"-- that is the job of the people who make and market Duelyst. He believes they are not doing it.

I know you're probably not a social worker, but your 10:1 ratio of negatives to positive to me is indefensible if you are actually trying to foster this community.

You are so obnoxiously wrong. Like, I know you would not hack it at a real job, but really?

First, the community is people who are playing Online Trading Card Games. If one sucks, it is his duty to warn them away from it. Not to encourage people to hop aboard.

Second, indefensible to who? To you? Some random guy on the internet? We do not agree with you or your world view. There are good products and there are bad products. We should buy the good ones and not buy the bad ones. It's that simple.

The bottom line is that you're trying to lecture someone you recognize as an authority because they disagree with you. It comes across as really pathetic.
