Here are some things about the Warden issue:

1) There’s way too much idol worship in this sub.

2) There’s a lot of stuff posted here without any evidence.

3) People want confirmation bias and aren’t critical.

4) He’s probably not a shill, just frustrated and has his own opinions.

First, I want to say I don’t agree with the things warden said and I haven’t bothered looking for him since he stopped posting here.

But, I don’t get why everyone insists on calling anyone who disagrees with them a shill. That’s the type of stuff that makes people defensive and ends up with them calling us idiots.

Add to that the insane idol worship in this sub. It was Pixel and Warden first, then Redchessqueen and now it’s Pinkcatsonacid. The daily posts by pink make me so uncomfortable. There’s often misinformation, often unnecessary hype, and things that I keep arguing lead to FUD.

If you look at all the mods you’ll find something sus. I can’t stand Pixel’s Twitter. He posts the cringiest stuff which sometimes is borderline harassment.

I felt really awkward reading Atobits house of cards thing since it felt like I should be putting on a tin foil hat to keep my thoughts safe.

The point is that all of these people are humans and have their own views, own opinions, and their own beliefs on what will happen. I feel it’s massively disingenuous to call someone a shill because they have a different opinion and it’s just going to create more problems down the line.

The most important thing is that we need to be more critical. To look at sources and to say “I don’t understand this, you need to explain it better”.

We need to stop with the blind hero worship of every mod and big poster and downvote things that aren’t well-thought out and grounded in evidence.
