Just think about how immigrants in Toronto vote for NDP and Liberal politicians who tax them left & right while they live comfortably in their own social circles while immigrants pay 1800 for a one-bedroom apartment. These politicians have great benefits and connections between themselves. If one of them loses and election, they can find a seat at a corporate board or a job at a university easily. All the while immigrants witness cost of accommodation increases beyond inflation every year. Then the same "canadian" politicians promise Torontonians how they want to make things affordable election after election, wanting their votes.. When you figure this one out, you'll figure out why Armenians vote for these so-called oligarchs. But a hint for you: Immigrants in Toronto vote for them because these politicians tell immigrants what they want to hear. Armenians in Armenia voted for politicians for the same reason.
