The biggest concern of mine is that on the application it said that I would be working under a Librarian (which probably wasn’t updated for the current school year), and I have never worked a position like this. I’m 19 years old and have only two years of experience as a Library Page for the public county libraries. I feel like I was just thrown into the water and expected to swim with very little guidance or support. For the most part my duties are intuitive and I can figure out how to do them properly, but as for other tasks, it’s possible I have no idea that I even need to be doing them. Anyone who is willing to take the time to share absolutely anything (even if it is just what your day to day looks like in your job) that would be helpful. Thank you all so much.
