i have never been to high school nor have i ever been employed

i don't know what metrics they used or how they normed the results, i'm just repeating the result i got back when i was in school. i know this doesn't count but i've tried some internet iq tests before and my results tend to range from 75-85. i find it hard to believe that appearance wouldn't be some factor in job hiring. competition is intense for the low-skill jobs i am (almost) qualified to do because i would have to compete with high schoolers and undergraduates, the employers can just choose based on arbitrary criteria at that point. regardless of what people want to believe, humans do make subconscious assumptions about your competence based on appearance. it's not like there's a visible sign above my head delineating my skills and appropriateness for the job anyway, and looks matter a lot when making first impressions.
