New data shows most school voucher applicants aren’t from Arizona public schools

I don't get why people move here to raise kids. It seems like most of the people moving here do so for that reason, especially Cali transplants. Can't afford a home in a desirable part of LA or Bay Area so they move here thinking their kids need to grow up in a house with a figurative picket fence. The schools suck here. The weather is too hot for outdoor sports activities for almost 6 months and the leagues here don't generally adapt to the local climate, especially if they're competing on a national level. I get it if you don't have a choice, like say your job relocated here, but for the other folks, especially those who move here primarily because of the dream of raising kids in a suburban home? Do they not look at the school system and other factors?
