Not gay myself, but personally, I wouldn’t worry too much about Ethan. I wouldn’t let some scum bag stop you from going about your life. I understand this might not be a popular opinion, but the odds of him committing actual violence against the LGTBTQ community are slim. He doesn’t fit the mold from a psychology point of view as someone who is going to shoot up a Target.

If I had to guess, he’s going to hassle people with colored hair, basically people he perceives as a member of the LGBTQ community, and due to his lack of intelligence, he’ll likely harass people who aren’t even gay.

If you’re LGBTQ, the best course of action is just have your phone ready. He’s the type who lives for views, so instead of engaging in an argument when he harasses you, the best thing to do is apply reason. Either walk away, or remain calm and don’t let him push your buttons. He’s not going to post a video of you if he looks stupid in it, or at least his idea of stupid. His idea of stupid is you remaining calm and not letting his words bother you. Hopefully you guys have support from other civilians nearby because I do think he is going to be uploading videos of himself at Target harassing you nice folks. I know personally, if I saw that happening, I would have your back. There’s no need for violence with people like him when you’re good with your words.

Just remember he’s only doing this for views, he wants you to be upset, and he won’t post anything that didn’t get a reaction. Side note, it’s extremely sad that we’re even having this conversation, I’m sorry the LGBTQ people even have to deal with this shit.
