Look, there’s a key in the lower right corner that tells you everything you need to know. Long bar = shared station. Blue circle = Bart. Bold circle = ADA accessible major stop (platform or not, like Sloat), circle inside line = other stop. Sloat is NOT A STATION. The way I interpret Balboa is that K and J share the complex with Bart so it is a shared station, hence long bar despite the terminal being outdoors for Muni. No need to walk far or cross streets to transfer. M is across the street hence the separate dot.

Logic seems fine to me. I don’t take kindly to having my intellect judged by someone who asks questions that are answered on the map in question so good day to you, sir/ma’am.
