Long term service industry worker.. feeling stuck and hopeless. Advice?

Hi, I worked in food industry for a while and ended up in Tech. Literally apply to contract agencies like Robert Half or Aerotek and do things like customer support jobs or admin work whatever you can be hired for (your recruiter will probably vet that for you when they interview you to know what jobs to look for). Once you get hired, you are then learning entry level skills and can use that time you spent working and learning to apply full time to other companies or even the existing one if you see an opening. That aside, you can also network and make connections while you have your foot in the door. I went from totally non relevant degree to working in IT for several years now and my life is changed.
