[News] ESO Live Summary - VR Removal, Barbershop, lag, and Monday's patch

They waited too long to start caring about PvP. All five campaigns are unplayable every night, with the ping staying above 300 even at the gates, kilometers away from any players using abilities or siege. They are seeing way more people playing now that B2P happened but it's not going to last if they don't fix the only content that keeps people around.

I cancelled my sub Friday during the ESO live recording. The studio does not give any kind of shit about PvP, the only reason they're finally fucking paying attention now is because Paul got his ass reemed on the forums for giving his same old bullshit excuse "we're looking into it" for the millionth time. The lag in Cyrodiil is not new, it's been around since launch, it just keeps getting worse and the only way they can "fix" it is by lowering the population in Cyrodiil over and over again. It's now at 450 total players per campaign (data mining proves this), and it was 1800 at launch. This game is getting worse because ZOS thinks dungeons and trials are interesting endgame content for some reason and PvP has always been an afterthought for them.

They won't budge on the battlegrounds, or dueling, or actually fixing and balancing AVA... I guess all those crybabies who didn't want a sub get the game they wanted but those of us who were loyal from the beginning are chopped liver. ZOS, you should have put more than a dozen people on the AVA team, and maybe hired less than a hundred writers to crap out stories that nobody gives a fuck about. Gameplay matters, and the only interesting gameplay in the game is now unplayable. You almost had a great game, but you chose to focus on the stupidest shit and ignored your fans for too long.
