{non-music audio} "Digital Love" by Daft Punk and "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire are in the same key and tempo. I put the two together to see what it would sound like side by side. This is what I got. I made absolutely no changes to the pitch or tempo...

"If you think Daft Punk is "lazy and uncreative" then I just feel bad for you tbh. Or for that matter an entire genre of music for "generations" Maybe you need to expand your horizons a bit"... "you are having some sort of issue"... would be the answer to why I'm being rude. The "issue" is 1. I perceived your first response to be an argument, which I rebutted and 2. general snarkiness on your part ("I mean no")I almost apologized for a misunderstanding but then, more snarky. I meant the practice is lame, not DP specifically, and the genre (pop) had suffered for it. Badly, imo. Which is not to say that daft punk are guilty of it in general, just, apparently, in this case, or that there aren't exceptions...spectacular ones, at that, in pop music (Adelle's "Someone Like You" for example...amazeballs). But in the days of producer-driven, pre-programmed music...artistry is suffering. Honesty is suffering. Creativity is suffering....which is a result of economics, really. Unique, honest, creative voices can't be heard amidst the din of what has-already-worked...and what has already worked bores the shit out of me. So that would be another issue. #3. Lastly, and then I promise I'll leave you alone...the reason i don't listen to much of the music isn't b/c I don't hear it....it's because I don't find what I'm hearing interesting...pop has become too pre-fabricated, and electronica....sorry, but none of it touches me like the sound of a guitar or a violin or a cello or a piano or a human voice. Not hating on it, nor those who love it. Nor denying the creativity of some of those artists. Sad truth is the public wants what is familiar, which also adds to the problem, so, ironically, sometimes the more creative, the less successful, and vice versa.
