Do you mean when it powers on, I need to reset the counter to the correct value by reading the EEPROM, or do you mean like read it with an LCD or something.
I only really need to know when the count has reached certain values. Sort of like a maintenance reminder. I need to indicate when the count has reach 200k, 400k, 600k, 800k, and 1 mil. I need some kind of output that will show that each milestone has been reached even when power is removed. Im thinking a chemical reaction that changes color would do the trick. Sort of like this. https://youtu.be/FReDAGo5fks
As for resetting the counter after power off. I don't really know the best way to do that. I suppose with an MUC like everyone else has proposed it would be easy enough?
