Noob question on Razer Switches - Purple Optical vs Green Clicky

stop attacking me jesus

That is not my name and I am not attacking you.

im 20 thanks for asking. not your little 12 year old brother screaming about fortnite.

My little brother is 30.

I'm not attacking you. Don't be so fragile. I am pointing out reality: the older you are, the more your perception of time changes. Using a keyboard for 2 years may seem like a lot to you, because you've been an adult for 2 years and you likely have changed personally since then.

But when you are old enough to buy alcohol (in the USA) or get a concealed carry license (in my state), then you may realize that 20 isn't that old.

It is not a matter of maturity necessarily, but a matter of time. I was about 20 when I realized I didn't need to buy new boots every year or half. I still have things from when I was 20 in fact. That means you weren't even in puberty when I obtained them! I'm not using the keyboard I was using back then, as I moved away from full sized, but that would still work too.

i didnt even read this whole thing, but clearly you feel threatened enough to type a goddamn thesis

Don't be so defensive or vulgar. I am typing on a computer and it is normal to write out one's thoughts. Of course, for people on tiny screens, it can be tedious to swipe through and read, and for people with attention problems, it can also be difficult.

im not a fanboy just someone who has had good experience with the products.

But you cannot type well and you don't have enough time in life to even begin to have meaningful experiences about the reliability of such things!

but theyre not popular enough to have support for it further down the line.

They've been making those keyboards for many years. Razer is the one switching up their products every year and having versions of software.

if im buying from some niche company,

Filco and Topre are established companies with products meant to be used for the long term. They just aren't marketing themselves towards kids.
