North Korea test-fires a ballistic missile: South Korean military

I agree. Relying on the US to solve the NK problem is the wrong approach. The US is untrustable since they only care about how much cash is their pockets. Consider these:

-the US president is cozying up to China, at our expense. -the US still has not appointed a new US ambassador in South Korea, so that position is still empty since the last US ambassador finished his term. -South Korea was shut out from talks by the US government who have consulted all the other countries in Japan, Australia, and China. -We have the most to lose from a war that Mr.Trump is advocating. We have the most lives at the stake, and we could face annilation, yet the country that we relied on and who promised to protect us, doesn't think South Korea is very important enough to consult with on these important matters that affect us the most. -in fact, the same said country thinks Korea was once part of China because his newfound trusted Chinese friend told him so.

If South Korea can't trust the US, then there's only one choice left. We must protect ourselves and force other big powers to take their grubby hands off our land, and stop telling us what to do.
