I think many on this sub are under the illusion it is somehow a valid style of argument because of team voting and gaming the majority demographics of Reddit. Being upvoted because people are on your team. “Upvote for agreement” - which creates an atmosphere which is inconsistent with “reasoned discussion” which, like it or not, is the foundation of this subreddit.

These mostly illusory teams were established by an ingroup of devout Anarchistic users here in order to undermine and manipulate this forum.
