The Witcher 3 is the most overrated game of all time. A complete open world fluff fest with the most formulaic, shallow, repetitive open world content of all time bloated with tedious dialogue for every minor quest with an insanely generic world populated with some of the worst designed characters I've ever seen. Geralt sucks. Absolutely a horrible main character.

Diablo 2 was FAR better than DA:O. DA:O is an average at best game. Far too easy, bloated with so much terrible dialogue, such a generic world with such a generic story.

Baldur's Gate didn't even have that much of a story, it was amazing for the incredible combat which combined RTS and RPG style combats in a truly revolutionary mixture. The story was nothing special. It wasn't revered for story by any means.

Mass Effect is one of the worst games I've ever played. Mass Effect 2 was a lot better but it was still average. Bioware stinks. Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 are the only good games they've ever made. Jade Empire, for example, is one of my picks for top 10 worst games of all time.

Dark Souls is better than every game you mentioned by a landslide outside of Diablo 2.
