Not racist, just autistic

Yeah that's it. Perhaps I'm going about it backwards. I can definitely see that considering anyone to be "white", could have racist connotations, and you might never really will be able to say white without saying "others". Personally, I loath the idea of "denying color" but perhaps I need some more color into my language instead of using the term "white", when I want to reject the idea of "The American white". Yeah. Maybe I see it more, now. Yea. My way of trying to convey this idea may sound like I'm putting myself above, as "white" has been created to differentiate the "better half", thus making me take the "good" for myself, despite not seeing it like that then. I can see how that could be perceived as racist.

I'm currently trying to use 'pale' and 'tan' when talking skin colors, as none of us really is black and white, and then afterwards try to refer to region when necessary. But yeah. White can never really be a great way, as, as you say, it's truly vague for the sake of always being able to put up a "youre not allowed in the club" when 'needed'.
