I do not want to trade curry
I would trade Curry for Burks without thinking twice. And Burks has 10M team option next year. Curry will get more than that.
Burks is 6’6. Curry gets targeted constantly on defense becaue of his size. It’ll get worse in the playoffs and we saw that last year against the Celtics. Burks is bigger and a better defender.
Burks is just as good a playmaker as curry. He played PG for the Knicks for most of his tenure here.
He may not be as good a shooter as Curry but he hits big shots and is a good shooter as well. The difference in shooting vs everything else (size, defense, playmaking) is negligible. Curry also disappears against good teams because of his size.
