Now that Neil Gorsuch has been confirmed and seated on the Supreme Court, are there any cases the Republicans have been waiting to send to the Supreme Court?

To make a long story short, in the end it was all about timing.

Scalia passed away at the worst possible moment when it came to Gun Rights in a Presidential Election year. That, by default made SCOTUS (as well as the fate of Heller McDonald and potentially Kolbe up in the air).

The rest is history. It was simple as that.

We chose to swallow the gigantic, bitter pill rather than vote for somebody that absolutely hates people like us and would make it her life's mission to castrate the 2nd Amendment.

I can guarantee you that I wasn't the only person who thought this way, even if some of us are normally on the left.

I wouldn't worry too much about Foreign Affairs and the Military, they're both in (somewhat) good hands, especially when it comes to Gen. Mattis.

Though, Foreign Affairs has always been a shitshow no matter who's at the helm. We all remember Hillary's little "Reset Button" with Russia which obviously did jack, but I don't think this is the right thread for that debate.
