Can you please explain why it is you think this is what’s happening? Cause I see conservatives as trying to maintain a 1990- 2000 era America ( which is elitism with the understanding that democratic elections do work). While the left is pushing for this big government controlling everything idea, all in the name of social justice.

So big picture from my perspective is both left and right are authoritarian. One agrees that they are in control as long as the people let them. All while the other believes they should be in control, because they are “smarter”.

BuT, that’s the way i see it. And reading your response it sounds like we quite differ on views. Curious if you could explain your side of why you see it this way?
