NZ hospitals stretched to breaking point - we have 5 confirmed cases

Why are people allowed to so egregiously editorialise titles on this sub? Quite clearly spells out in the article that it's a combination of a legacy of underfunding (the whole 'western' world is currently finding that years of putting bare minimum in yields shite results in a crisis like this) and people panicking, turning up within acute services, and demanding tests which is placing additional stress on an already stressed out system - Southern Hemisphere will be in peak flu season when COVID is at its peak.

This sub goes absolutely wild when system actors aren't being proactive and recognising the potential danger in inaction. This is a union boss simply saying invest into the system now or face the consequences.
