The Occasional God Emperor Trump and US Presidential Election Thread

I think Trump's election is almost certain at this point.

The process hasn't even really started yet. The Trump phenomenon is politically stunning but everything is still arrayed against him. The elite of the party he is running for (Republicans) want him gone, so he not only has to win the preliminary elections but he also has to fight his own party. FOXNews, which is a supposedly "conservative" brand of news in the US, should be in the bag for the Republican frontrunner, but they are currently in a war with Trump.

Trump has exposed that both the Republican party and FOXNews serve corporate, globalist interests and not the American people. He is poking one hell of a wasp nest.

Assuming he gets the nomination and the Republicans grudgingly back him, he will be going up against the zombie of Hillary Clinton. Hillary is a terrible candidate with baggage that includes criminality, her husband's scandals, and incompetence. The fact that she still exists as a possible President shows how deeply she is entrenched in the system and how much the media is willing to overlook her horribleness. The media howl to defeat Trump and have the first woman President is going to be absolutely deafening.

Close American elections often come down to who is better at vote fraud. The Clintons, the Bushes, Obama and his Chicago people all have access to criminal elements that can commit fraud in key states and possibly swing an election. I doubt Trump, even though he is a billionaire, has any of these connections. He is not only going to have to win; he is going to have to win big so fraud doesn't play a part in the election.

Everything is up in the air right now. There hasn't been anything quite like Trump in American politics for quite a while and he scares a lot of powerful people. God help him.
