[Offer]Pizza for someone. (CAN)

Not Canadian so idk if you can pizza me, but if not it's all good. I know depression very very well so I would like to help! I've got a long post here with several good suggestions that keep my spirits up each day.

Like a lot of people suggested video games can be a decent distraction for the most part. I'm a big gamer myself. I recommend stuff with lots of replay value like Skyrim or The Binding of Isaac. Social games can be great too since having people to chat with is always good in regards to depression. Just avoid games with toxic communities like League of Legends. Those players don't usually help with the already hurting self esteem.

I also very highly recommend getting into some tabletop games, and I don't just mean dungeons and dragons. There is a huge variety of games to play! I like this better than video games for helping depression just because it's more social. My favorites are Red Dragon Inn (competitive and humorous card game about fantasy characters at the bar), Elder Sign (Co-op strategy dice rolling game to defeat Cthulu & other Lovecraftian creatures), and of course Cards Against Humanity (very very inappropriate version of Apples to Apples). They can be pretty expensive unfortunately, but if you have a game store around some do have open game nights to try stuff and it's great for making new friends for any age. International Tabletop day is next month so there will likely be events.

Another good idea is to try making something. What kind of things are you good at or willing to try? Making characters and stuff with perler beads is pretty fun. It's pretty much like pixel art. Or if you're looking for something more "manly," chain mail isn't too difficult to start making. It's a lot of tedious work but the end product is cool, and you can make things other than just armor. Those two hobbies are good if you're not really artistic. Otherwise there is always drawing, painting, writing, etc.

Ok long post so last one! Learn something!! Whether you take up some classes or try self teaching trying to learn something new is a great way to take up some time and earn some more self respect. I'm trying to learn Japanese myself. New languages are the best and an incredibly practical skill. My bf and I have also dabbled in coding. Thinking about looking into 3d design as well.

TL;DR SO MANY HOBBIES! Video games, tabletop games, create something, or learn something new! Hope some of these interest you and help get your spirits up.
