For the Alaska passage, I feel like contributing my thoughts to the debate about how the guy felt about his current situation. A lot of people are saying contentment, which I can see being inferred. However, towards the end of the passage, where the narrator is being superstitious - doesn't the ice not break or smthn? Doesn't that mean he will give up on the land? Idk, I feel like throughout the passage the narrator was constantly comparing himself to his siblings, never really explicitly putting his life in a positive context. If you were to read the whole book it might've been a different conclusion but honestly, the SAT reading is usually trying to get you to overthink things. Idk really, I'm debating on my choice too! Any discussion is welcomed :)) (I put dissatisfied btw..i think)
