Well, Sophia is over 25 at least, and she's practically a public figure. Not really a kid, and she's also broadcasting the photo to a large number of followers on IG. The little girl is probably a cousin or child of a cousin. This must be a fairly recent photo because Sophia got engaged recently and the IG caption says that the girl is a bridesmaid (bridesmaids are usually adults though, right?). I also witnessed plenty of Asian kids casually using these types of racist gestures or slurs when they were joking around. Kids just copy things they see sometimes. As for the photo's context, I can't think of many ways to excuse it--maybe they're making the gesture "ironically," or imitating the fox eyes beauty trend?
