On Hate

Hatred for the manifestation (due to the fact that it causes suffering), is inherently a positive thing, due to it's clear seeing/honesty, and it's intent.

So our hate compels us to act?

If you “hate everything”, and think that everything is “cruel/evil”, that (inherently) means, that you will be naturally propelled, to make changes to everything, to reduce suffering.

:-) I guess being cynical is good.

I have been described as cynical, I just believe it to be brutal honesty.

And this (inherently) means, that you will naturally be propelled, to keep doing this (at an ever-deeper level), until all suffering is permanently eliminated (for all people/entities/beings, and existence itself).

Yes, you must first recognise suffering before you can oppose it.

All suffering begins at birth, therefore birth should be opposed!

Therefore, “hate everything”, and thinking that everything is “cruel/evil”, is (inherently) selfless/good/right/moral/kind.

Well since birth is the "source" of evil, it should be the most hated thing in existence (which is ironic in a sense).

In fact, I often wonder what would happen is a state like China (or any country for that matter) made procreation a capital offence?

“Hate” is vital (in life), because “dislike”/“prefer not to”/etc, is not strong enough, to naturally propel you to make a big enough change in your life, (which is needed, to reduce/prevent/eliminate suffering, for yourself, and/or others).

Because if you hate something, you will be compelled to actively destroy it (in this case suffering).

“Hate” is a very powerful energy/force in all of us, which we have been brainwashed/programmed to repress, because this then makes you:

1) A more docile obedient slave. 2) Not try to to break out of your prison.

Well hate compels us to act, so long as our hatred does not lead to the propagation of more suffering, then it is indeed a powerful motivator.

Hmm, I guess all emotions, given the right context have their purpose.

Pride for instance, can be used to increase self-confidence and self-worth (which is good).

But it can manifest as an evil force in the form of narcissism, in which the narcissist requires others to validate her own existence (which is what I see in a lot of natalists).

Do you think breeders have children in order to act as a form of narcissistic supply.

I have heard it said, most parents "see themselves" in their children.

As for me, I will NEVER breed, EVER!

Doing so will only create more suffering (which is a bad thing).

And on a personal note, I find myself (romanticly) attracted to other boys rather than girls. :-)

Thank you for the response, what are your thoughts?
