Do you have a one-of-a-kind opinion? Let's find out.

He lifted a line from the song. The actual arrangement and song structure are completely different.

Similarly, the first line of "Something" is inspired by a James Taylor song "Something In the Way She Moves". Taylor was signed to the Beatles' record company at the time. But other than that first line, the songs are completely different.

Same deal with "Run For Your Life" which has the same line as "Baby Lets Play House" about "I'd rather see you dead little girl than to be with another man". Other than that, the two songs are completely different.

A more blatant rip off is "Drive My Car" which is based around the same bass line as Otis Redding's "Respect" and it's pretty unmistakable. George starts off "Revolution" with the same intro to the Pee-Wee Crayton song "Do Unto Others" and it's pretty much note for note though the rest of the song is different. The middle of "I've Just Seen A Face" is almost exactly the same middle of the song "Mr. Bass Man".

Come Together gets an unfair rap as a ripoff because Chuck Berry actually bothered to sue. For the record, the Beatles certainly were inspired by others, but if you look into just about any famous rock and roller's catalog, you'll find a few songs that are even more blatant rip offs than what the Beatles ever did.
