Only one for $1? You're not worthy of my time.

I found a recipe that claims it cost $4 to make 36 cinnamon rolls. Another website says that to make 18 from scratch takes 45 minutes so you figure for 36 cinnamon rolls about an hour? Let’s say you’re paying a baker and a cashier $10 an hour to bake and cashier and the average customer that day is only buying one cinnamon roll? (Wild assumption I know) the. The cost of one cinnamon roll assume 40 dollar labor cost, 4 dollar production cost is $1.22. That doesnt factor in rent, electricity etc.

When I worked at Cinnabon as a teen one tray held 6 Cinnabon’s I think, so by that same logic of those were sold for a dollar than the place is losing more money.

Not trying to argue either way because I don’t care I just wanted to try to answer the question
