Yeah, not really. The only case where people think you should face any punishment is if you are harassing a trans person, which is something that applies to all groups of people, not just transgenders. No one thinks people should go to jail just for misgendering someone.

Trans women arent creeps, they are there to use the bathroom, not spy on people. Also, the vast majority of women doesn't care if a trans woman uses the bathroom. And there's more cases of cis people harassing trans people in the bathroom than the other way around.

Don't get me wrong, I fully support giving hormone blockers to children, creeps getting into female bathrooms, lesbians getting harrased for saying they won't ever suck a cock etc. as long as it's happening in the US, Canada or anywhere not on my continent.
