Owners of MBP 16, what's your opinion after using it for while?

I work as a developer, and since our software stack requires either linux or macOS, I went with a new 13in. macbook with touchbar. I like USB-C. It wasn't too hard to get dongles and adapters for my old accessories considering how cheap they are now (a well-made Tronsmart one costs arpund $2.50) and it charges my phone (a Nexus 6P) quickly. The touchbar is a useful addition. I mainly use it for switching apps using an app called TouchSwitcher since I have a dual monitor setup.

Unfortunately though, the macbook is with Apple now for display replacement. A few weeks ago grey lines started forming on the upper part of the display, and it also started to distort and be slow to respond. The touchbar has froze on me a few times too. After using it for two months, I still dislike the keyboard. I'm into mechanical keyboards and it's nowhere close.

I've been using macbooks forever but right now; I'm using a 2007 MBP 15" at work because of bad quality control. Honestly, I probably should have gotten an XPS13 and run a VM instead.
